There are four international service partners. They are March of Dimes, UNICEF, Better World Books, and Students Team Up to Fight Hunger. The Pennsylvania Kiwanis Family also has one local partner, Caitlin’s Smiles.

Better World Books: An organization that capitalizes on the value of a book to fund and support literacy initiatives locally, nationally, and around the world. CKI Members can help out by holding a book drive for Better World Books’ “Book Drives for Better Lives” program.

Caitlin’s Smiles: An organization that provides “Bags of Smiles” to sick children in the hospital. Clubs can assemble and donate these bags or supplies, volunteer at their corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, donate funds, and more!

March of Dimes: An organization that works to fight premature births. CKI members can help by participating in a March for Babies Walks in the spring or donating funds all year round.

Students Team up to Fight Hunger: An organization that pairs food banks with local colleges and universities for two purposes: to collect food for those who need it most and to raise awareness of these needs upon the local student population. CKI members can help by setting up STUFH bins on campus, spreading the word about hunger, or starting a STUFH chapter on your campus.

UNICEF: An agency that provides emergency aid to children in Europe and Asia. CKI members help by going Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF and raising money for the Six Cents Initiative, which focuses on providing clean drinking water to the world. You can learn more about the Six Cents Initiative by following this link here.
