Festeggiare! Feiern! Fait la fête! No matter how you say it, a celebration is in order! That’s right, it’s time to start thinking about Pennsylvania Circle K’s District Convention in Allentown, PA. The convention to be held March 26th-28th, is an event you don’t want to miss. After a very long year of hard work and dedication to serving our communities, it is the perfect culmination of leadership and fellowship to end the year right. Affectionately referred to as DCON, Circle K clubs from the Pennsylvania District are invited to show off what they’ve doing at our annual service fair on Friday night, along with an awesome opportunity to play some games and hang out with friends from other clubs, new and old. Then on Saturday we allow potential candidates to campaign and caucus for their respective positions, and in the 48th Official House of Delegates you may even elect them! Saturday evening hosts a semi-formal reception for us to collectively reflect on our great service this year, and honor those who went above and beyond to achieve great things.
District Convention is the ultimate event associated with Pennsylvania Circle K, and what makes this year’s event so much more incredible is the Serving Through the Decades theme. Travel through time as we bring out the funk of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s all weekend long. We have LIVE game shows from yesteryear and today waiting for contestants to come on down, if ya’ know what I mean. It’s a groove that only awesome food, awesome music, and awesome costumes could spark. And as always, you can whip out your best boogie at the disco Saturday night. So don’t end up being a square and missing your chance to register for Pennsylvania Circle K’s biggest district event, registration is available online and through your respective club officers.
